Many of us have one great advantage: we were born outside the nuclear age and we should use that. No one else will have this advantage. The advantage is that it enables us to use our will without the compulsions of modern technology forcing our hands. If we don´t abolish nuclear weapons now it will become increasingly harder for our children to abolish them: they will have accepted them into their societies in a way without the shock - or the venomous triumph - with which we had to relate to them.
