Teatro Plástico is a theatre company based in Porto, Portugal, since 1995 with the following purposes:
- To present groundbreaking contemporary drama and authors that can question our times and its major artistic and political contradictions.
- To follow a transversal programme involving the visual and the performing Arts, underlining the intimate links between Theatre and all other artistic mediums.
- To opt for site-specific settings alternative to the conventional theatre buildings, discovering new performing places and new ways and meanings for the dramatic act in contemporary urban life.
- To question the role and importance of image versus the word in contemporary theatrical scene.
